Image Swap on Hover, CSS
An interesting approach given on this site, by "SamA74". The simplicity of it is that on hover, the top image fades out to reveal the bottom image, and can be set to reveal slowly.

This is intended to be a gallery type display in a Light Box format. I used it to display the before & after images in my photo illustration porfolio.

This is an ever-evolving sheet I devised to be a system of shortcuts in applying text styles. Each time this sheet is used, it should include a hexadecimal date string to show when it was updated and applied. A hex string example: Jan 01, 2014 = "010114" — so the file, if used on that date, would be named "text_master_010114.css". This way we always know the latest incarnation, and this base file can evolve accordingly. Upgrades should be made with respect to legacy bersions still in use, with a deprecated quarantine in a bottom area.
